Solar Walk, by the Hungarian animation artist Réka Bucsi, is a symphony between humans, animals, creatures, and inanimate and unknown objects. Her creations move through time and space in a mysterious universe, with every scene displaying the distinctive and playful texture of the animation artist.
Visiting the Deep Space presentations is only possible with a pre-booked ticket. Tickets are available at the Ars Electronica Center’s infodesk and can only be booked for the respective time slot of the museum visit ticket.
Biographies
Réka Bucsi graduated from the MOME Budapest animation department in 2013. Her graduation film “Symphony no. 42” got shortlisted for the Oscars in 2014. Her films were screened in competitions at various festivals, including Berlinale, Annecy, SXSW, and Sundance. Réka’s debut film “LOVE” was nominated for Best Short Film at the European Film Awards.
