Open Futurelab is a platform within the Ars Electronica Festival to showcase and discuss Ars Electronica Futurelab’s latest research findings and collaborative projects with research partners. During this year’s festival, Open Futurelab will not only host physical exhibitions and talks in Linz, but also various experimental projects online to deepen discussions on how to envision the future for the new conditions facing humanity.
The Open Futurelab Exhibition showcases the current research and projects by the Ars Electronica Futurelab and is accessible via guided tours that can be booked on the ticketing page. During the festival, members of the Ars Electronica Futurelab offer 30 to 45 minutes long guided tours through the offices of the laboratory, which for the time of the festival are transformed into an exhibition and demonstration space and exclusively accessible to the general public. Visitors are invited to get to know the Ars Electronica Futurelab’s current research and projects daily from September 9-13 at the following tour times:
