Biography

Daniel Hengst (DE) is a media artist, often working in the performing arts, on video and sound installations and in virtual reality. The VR work “my lonesome hologram” was shown at the DOK Leipzig in 2016 and received a special mention at the ALife Award in Tokyo. The project “Art for Landscapes” explores whether and how it is possible to make art for non-human subjects. At the end of 2020 a new VR work will be realized in the RIXC Gallery in Riga/Latvia.
