Meet Dr Steve Harding, coordinator of BCU’s STEAM Fellows Programme, as he talks with Mark Brill (Art, Design, Media), Kusminder Chahal (Business, Law, Social Sciences) and Tychonas Michailidis (Computing, Engineering, Built Environment) about their transdisciplinary projects and how they will help to stimulate engagement across the University.

Biography
Steve Harding is the coordinator of BCU’s STEAM Fellows Programme working to support academics towards STEAMhouse Phase 2. He has been active in many transnational projects focusing on creative cities and economic development, skills for business and enterprise, cross innovation for new combinations of SMEs and, most recently, in how makerspaces can help catalyse innovation in city ecosystems. Steve led the writing team setting out the European Structural and Investment Fund strategy for the city region for 2014/20. Steve chairs the Initiative for Social Enterprise in Birmingham and the Community Development Trust in Moseley, which hosts The Exchange co-working space.
