Deep Space LIVE: Humankind and the Cosmos: A Subtle Analogy

(Linz, December 13, 2011) At the next Deep Space LIVE this Thursday, December 15, astrophotographer Dietmar Hager will address the question of whether there exist analogies between the macro- and microcosms, and, if so, what form they take and how they might help to explain why the universe is constructed the way it is. Hager is sure to have some fascinating insights here: as a microsurgeon, he of course has comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, and as a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and operator of an observatory, he also knows quite a bit about what’s out there in space.
