Deep Space LIVE: Räubersleut und Ritterstreit – Sagen aus dem alten Linz

Deep Space LIVE: Robbers and Knights – Once upon a time in Linz
Thursday, October 25, 2012 / 8-9 PM / Ars Electronica Center

(Linz, October 22, 2012) Tales of Linz in days of yore will be the center of rapt attention at the next Deep Space LIVE on October 25. Storyteller Claudia Edermayer will relate ripping yarns including the Sagas of the Iron Hand, the Losensteiner Tournament and Bandit Chieftain Michl Landl. Then historian Cathrin Hermann of the Linz City Archive will shed some light on the respective historical context and go into the question of what these stories of knights, brigands and arranged marriages can tell us about the particular time and society that brought them forth. “Robbers and Knights” will be reprised during Family Days at the Ars Electronica Center on the weekend of October 27-28, 2012 at 2:30 PM both days.
