Deep Space LIVE: WE – A Collection of Individuals

(Linz, February 19, 2013) Skiing is generally considered an individual sport. WE – A Collection of Individuals from Red Bull Media House provides evidence to the contrary. A group of skiers were filmed as they pursued their favorite pastime. The results are fantastic images of daring athletes freeskiing in the mountains and doing tricks in various urban settings. Whatever, the focus is always on fun—in the half-pipe, on slopes covered with fresh powder or at the ski park. The delight the group derives from skiing is so infectious the audience feels it too. And hopefully, some will be so inspired that they’ll soon be spending time in their friendly local winter wonderland!
Deep Space LIVE
The Ars Electronica Center hosts a Deep Space LIVE event every Thursday (except holidays) at 8 PM. Each presentation features ultra-high-definition imagery in 16×9-meter format and is accompanied by expert commentary, entertaining stand-up repartee, and musical improvisation. Whether great works from the history of art, space travel, journeys of discovery in the nanoworld, or a live concert is what you’ve come to behold, Deep Space LIVE stands for enlightening entertainment amidst breathtaking worlds of imagery. Holders of a valid Museum ticket are admitted free of charge.
