Deep Space LIVE: Best of Linz_Then/Now
Thursday, February 6, 2014 /8-9 PM / Ars Electronica Center
(Linz, January 31, 2014) Architectural changes as well as continuities in Linz’s urban development will be featured at the next Deep Space LIVE this Thursday, February 6th at 8 PM. Fritz Mayrhofer, former director of the Municipal Archive, will present historical photographs of the cityscape juxtaposed to current images taken from the same angle. Many of our older visitors are sure to be reminded of scenes from their childhood; younger Linzers, on the other hand, will confront a place that is familiar and strange at the same time. All the pictures are from the photography book series Linz_Einst/Jetzt 1-3.
