(Linz, December 4, 2017) Art historian Lothar Schultes and theologian Michael Zugman will present the Hallstatt double-winged altar at “Art in Advent”, the next installment in the Deep Space LIVE series, this Thursday, December 7th at 7 PM. They’ll elaborate on gigapixel images of the altar featuring scenes from the lives of Jesus and Mary, and also go into a criminal case involving paintings stolen from a Hallstatt church and not recovered until 30 years later. NOTE: “Art in Advent: The Hallstatt Altar” will be reprised on Sunday, December 10 & 17, 2017 at 10 AM both days.
