Deep Space LIVE: 10 Years Sergeant Steel

(Linz, October 22, 2018) Hard Rock are in for a real treat: Austrian hard rock band Sergeant Steel, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will play an unplugged concert at Deep Space 8K on Thursday evening, October 25. In the course of the evening they will also present its new vinyl “Best Of Sergeant Steel”. The entrance fee is 3 €. With a valid museum ticket the visit is free of charge.

Sergeant Steel Unplugged …
The hard rock band Sergeant Steel was founded in Upper Austria in 2007. So far the band has released three albums: Lovers & Maniacs (2010), Men on A Mission (2013) and Riders of the Worm (2015). In the studio the band has already worked with people like Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row, Mötley Crew) or Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Europe). The official Black Wings Linz song, a hard rock version of the Christmas classic “Winter Wonderland”, is also by Sergeant Steel.

Deep Space LIVE
The Ars Electronica Center hosts a Deep Space LIVE event every Thursday (except holidays) at 7 PM. Each presentation features ultra-high-definition imagery in 16×9-meter format and is accompanied by expert commentary, entertaining stand-up repartee, or musical improvisation. Whether great works from the history of art, space travel, journeys of discovery in the nano-world or a live concert is what you’ve come to behold, Deep Space LIVE stands for enlightening entertainment amidst breathtaking worlds of imagery. Holders of a valid Museum ticket are admitted free of charge.
