(Linz, 30.9.2019) Watch Artificial intelligence (AI) “think”, train self-propelled cars, program robots with face recognition or interactitely explore the phenomenon of glacier shrinkage. During the Long Night of Museums, visitors to the Ars Electronica Center can expect inspiring excursions into the world of AI, neuroscience, robotics, autonomous mobility and global change. In addition, a series of breathtaking best-of presentations at Deep Space 8K promise visual treats.
Short guided tours / 6:15 PM – 11:15 PM, hourly / Duration: 30-45 minutes
Short guided tours provide an initial overview of the exhibitions and thematic focal points of the new Ars Electronica Center and hopefully whet the appetite for another visit.
Deep Space Presentations / 6 PM – 1 AM / Duration: approx. 25 minutes
7 hours Deep Space Program: From the 3-D journey through the universe to the virtual visit of historical sites and mages from inside the human body. Visitors get an impression of what is possible in this unique presentation room with its 16×9 metre wall and floor projections.
