Stimm- und Klangaufnahmen, sowie Klangobjekte weben den Klangteppich, der die Basis einer elektroakustischen Reise bildet. Diese Texturen fungieren als eine Art Humus für Stimmen, die immer wieder fragmentarisch daraus hervorwachsen. Verschiedenste Assoziationen und unerwartete Verknüpfungen werden hervorgerufen.
Biografie:
Martina Claussen is a composer and vocal artist who explores and combines the sounds of the human voice and sound objects with field recordings, analogue and digital electronics. She explores space and performative action and has gradually developed her own, distinctive style of music.
She performed at international festivals including: Ars Electronica 2017 + 2018, Wien Modern 2017 + 2018, Iklektik – London 2018, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival 2016-2019. She works at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna where, since 2009, she holds the position of Associate Professor of Voice.
