Von seinem Zuhause in Victoria und Pender Island, British Columbia, und mit der Open Space Gallery initiierte Bartlett Projekte und Kooperationen, die frühe Computer-E-Mail, Slow-Scan-Video und Satellitennetzwerke nutzten, um KünstlerInnen aus der ganzen Welt zusammenzubringen und Netzwerke und Kooperationsprojekte aufzubauen, die den Kontext für unsere aktuelle globale Internetkultur schufen.
