This game in itself is not very complicated, but it’s very difficult for us humans to think strategically in 3D. It is not only our bodies that have adapted to our planet’s gravity, but also our minds. We think, dream and imagine in 2D, but with 3D Chess we can practice using our zero gravity minds.
Rules:
In this game, the players start with 6 pieces each. The pieces have small cubes sticking out from their bodies. These indicate how the pieces may move.
- 2 pieces each that move in the direction of the edges.
- 2 pieces each that move in the direction of the corners.
- 2 pieces each that move in the direction of the sides.
Black starts and then the players alternate. Pieces move one step at the time.
Each level of the game can be carefully lifted, in order to place or reach the desired pieces.
The first player to have only one piece left loses the game.
