Gerald Wirth (AT)
Musical training at Vienna Boys Choir (VBC) & Anton Bruckner University, Linz (AT), (voice, oboe and piano). Since 2001 artistic director of VBC, since 2013, its president. 1986-1989 choirmaster of VBC. 1989-1991, chorus master of the Salzburg opera house. 1991-1998, artistic director of the Calgary Boys’ Choir & musical director of the Calgary Civic Symphony, Canada.

Veronika Liebl (AT)
Veronika Liebl is currently Director of European Cooperation, Organization and Finance at the department Festival/Prix/Exhibitions of Ars Electronica. She studied economic and business science at Johannes Kepler University in Linz (graduated in 2010) with study visits at the Harvard University (US) and Université de Fribourg (CH) and has an interdisciplinary background in non-profit and innovation management. Since 2011 she is in charge of cultural management and European project developement for the department Festival/Prix/Exhibitions at Ars Electronica Linz GmbH & Co KG and serves as a member for the Linz’ city culture council. She is working for 9 years for Ars Electronica and is mainly engaged in programming and producing collaborative programs with partners from arts, science and industry and facilitats, in this framework, programs for artistic productions at Ars Electronica, in particular residency programs. She leads Ars Electronica’s European collaboration projects in the field of culture, research & education and developed, launched as well as executed in this position – together with her team – numerous EU projects such as the STARTS Prize or the European ARTificial Intelligence Lab.
Matthias Röder (AT)
Dr. Matthias Röder is an expert on intellectual property and innovation management. He holds a PhD in music from Harvard University and is an alumnus of the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Matthias currently serves as a board member of the Karajan Foundation and as a member of the board of trustees of the Mozarteum Foundation. He is the Managing Director of the Eliette and Herbert von Karajan Institute as well as the CEO of Karajan Cinema Classics. In 2017, Matthias founded the Karajan Music Tech Conference, a cross-industry event to promote breakthrough technologies in music, media and audio. He is also the founder of the Classical Music Hack Day series which he launched in 2013. Together with his wife, Seda Röder, Matthias co-founded the Sonophilia Network for Creative Leaders, an international, invite-only think tank that brings together top-level executives, entrepreneurs, scientists and artists. Matthias has won numerous prizes and accolades for his work, including most recently, the “Game Changer” Award of the Chamber of Commerce Salzburg. He is a sought-after speaker and lecturer who has taught at Harvard University, the Change & Innovation Management Program at University of St. Gall, and Salzburg University.
