Connected Earth
The exhibition Connected Earth is based on the understanding that everything is interconnected: the Earth, nature, technology, materials, flora and fauna, and we humans.
Understanding AI
Artificial Intelligence offers plenty of room for speculation about the future. What is certain is that this technology has already changed our everyday life in far-reaching ways and will continue to do so. We have already been supported by algorithms in a wide range of areas such as autonomous driving, security technology, marketing or social media for a long time.
Global Shift
Humans have made far-reaching changes to the natural living environment for their own purposes. Apart from the concrete wastelands and the refuse we produce, there are many other examples that testify to this. But it hasn’t always been that way.
Ars Electronica Labs
The interweaving of different knowledge cultures is a central approach for the Ars Electronica Labs. Find out how citizens are actively involved in shaping our world, how the human body can be extended by means of technology, how (new) materials are used to innovatively produce things and how the smallest biological structures and processes shape our lives.
Kids’ Research Laboratory
How can children be introduced to new technologies? Our answer to this question was to create our own research laboratory just for children.
Deep Space 8K
Since 2009, Deep Space 8K has been a central highlight of the Ars Electronica Festival and a major attraction at the Ars Electronica Center. Equipped with cutting-edge projection technology, it offers a unique immersive experience that captivates audiences with interactive 3D content, ultra-high-resolution imagery and live performances with stunning visuals.
Being Anton
In a special way, we want to introduce you to the world of sound of the exceptional Upper Austrian composer Anton Bruckner and the acoustics of his time in this anniversary year.
AI x Music
The exhibition takes a look at the cultural and technological history of mechanical music players.
Neurobionics
Just as in other technological fields, many new developments have taken place in neurology recently.
Me and the Machines
Do you trust machines? Does your robot vacuum cleaner already have a name? Alternating works, curated by the scientific team of the Robopsychology Lab at the JKU Linz, invite you to join in the research, try things out and reflect on how we deal with technology.
I Need More Space
At the Ars Electronica Center, space becomes an art space and outer space an inexhaustible source of inspiration: under the title “I Need More Space”, the exhibition focuses on the growing importance of outer space for everyday life on Earth.
Please note: The program for the Ars Electronica Festival 2025 is still in progress.
We are currently preparing all the information for the website and plan to put the full program online in the coming days – stay tuned!
