The Futurelab, the Ars Electronica’s artistic R&D laboratory and atelier, invites you to participate and create the futures together! At the Open Futurelab in POSTCITY, you explore collaborative research prototypes, artistic installations, workshops, talks, and tours. The Futurelab also unfolds new experiences in Deep Space 8K, from multiplayer artworks to Futurelab Night—a unique blend of immersive research report and artistic performances.

Together with worldwide partners, the Ars Electronica Futurelab aims to humanize technologies and inspire the public. Our works build on the Futurelab’s Art Thinking method, Art Science Research and Future Impact Creation for experimental, explorative future prototyping.
