Do we need more energy? (yes/no)

Verein Energiewende Linz (AT)

A high standard of living is closely linked to high energy consumption. If enough clean energy were available, that wouldn’t really be a problem!

However, most of this energy still comes from oil, natural gas, and coal—even in Austria. This fuels climate change, makes us dependent on energy imports, and diminishes our quality of life in the long term.

The good news: there is enough clean energy! The energy transition is a key step toward securing our standard of living in a sustainable way. Powerplayground invites visitors to explore this transformation and presents energy transition projects to participate in. Come visit us!

  • Verein Energiewende Linz

Verein Energiewende Linz advocates for active climate protection and a sustainable energy supply. Our goal is to make the complexity of the energy transition understandable and to inspire people—especially younger generations—to help shape it. We initiate and support projects that share knowledge and highlight concrete ways to get involved—whether by starting one’s own initiative, pursuing relevant education, or choosing a profession in the field.
