A highlight of the Night Performances in Deep Space 8K at the Futurelab Day of the Ars Electronica Festival 2022: Pianist Maki Namekawa impressively demonstrates the potential of Life Ink, the new project of the Ars Electronica Futurelab with technology company Wacom.

Life Ink uses human life data to create a new form of “ink”. Wearables equipped with sensors that capture brain waves as well as other body signals provide the biological data that Life Ink interprets in real time. In this way, the human body becomes a tool and means of expression that reflects us on a conscious and subconscious level, revealing aspects of ourselves that inspire creativity.
