The Prix Ars Electronica is the world’s longest-running media art competition. The prizewinners can look forward to the coveted Golden Nicas, up to 10,000 euros per category and an appearance at the renowned Ars Electronica Festival in Linz. From April 28 to May 1, 2022, the jurors will select the best works from more than two thousand submissions in a total of four categories: Computer Animation, Interactive Art +, Digital Communities and u19 – create your world. The winners of the respective categories will be announced on June 20, 2022. The selected, award-winning media artworks will be on display at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz from September 7 to 11, 2022.
