The Global Mapping of Dreams by Pierre-Christophe Gam

The Global Mapping of Dreams is a ground-breaking art installation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, democracy, and foresight. This revolutionary project seamlessly melds art and technology, propelling global communities into the radical reimagining of our world. Operating as a cutting-edge Think/Dream tank, it establishes an all-encompassing arena for cross-cultural discourse on the future. Accessible online or as part of an immersive art installation, GMD centres on a transformative journey guided by an AI-powered oracle. It leverages ‘The Sanctuary of Dreams,’ an innovative Future-dreaming ritual, to lead participants through a transformative exploration of future scenarios shaped by their deepest desires.

The installation unfolds a tapestry of five ideal visions encompassing how we eat, play, dream, pray, and love within an ideal future. After each session, the AI oracle generates distinct illustrations inspired by participants’ visions, breathing life into a constantly evolving collective dream. The GMD stands as a powerful testament to the fusion of artistic expression and technological prowess, challenging boundaries and inviting individuals to become architects of their own visionary futures.

An Athenian Agora, adapted to the digital age, the Global Mapping of Dreams offers a powerful immersive experience that actively empowers communities to be active participants in the co-creation of the future.
