Festival University 2022 – Welcome to Planet B
200 Students from over 70 countries spent four weeks with JKU scientists, Ars Electronica artists and many other high-ranking experts from all areas of art, technology, politics, journalism, science and society.
Bridge the Gaps – under this slogan, the students dealt with the topic of climate change and its consequences. However, borders were not only to be crossed physically. In particular, they explored the question of how bridges can be built between different cultures and countries when it comes to climate change. They were looking for a new perspective on the challenges of our time.
They presented the ideas and insights they gained in their search for an international constitution for climate protection in a realistic simulation of an international court (“The International Environmental and Climate Court”).
