Tardi, the tardigrade, is marvelling into a new world. There it encounters many unexpected things: Mucki, the muscle cell, the puppet robot, the artificial intelligence and a very elegant worm. Based on the children’s book “Da ist Tardi” in German we go on an exciting voyage of discovery with Tardi in this ten part Home Delivery series.
Tardi is a microorganism itself, so it is happy to meet the worm “C. elegans”, which is as tiny as it is. But the worm is not just interesting because it is so small: In what is known as neurobionics, biology and technology meet and one can look at nature to get ideas for building robots based on C. elegans, for example. This time you will learn together with Tardi how organisms are recreated through digital building blocks in order to create robotic systems.
