At home with… Amnesty International: COVID-19 & Human Rights

| | |

In order to contain the COVID-19 virus, various measures and regulations are adopted by the government. The aim of these measures is to protect human life. To this end, many human rights – especially civil liberties – will be temporarily restricted. But are human rights allowed to be restricted at all? What measures must the state take to protect our human rights even in times of crisis? What impact do these restrictions have and on whom? How can we generally demand and defend our human rights? These and other questions will be discussed in the interactive online lecture with Amnesty International.
