In this workshop participants will learn about the microbiome to develop their own stories about microbes, collect and observe samples using microscopy, and create short performances based on their stories and findings.
Specific conditions such as infrastructure and materials:
-Drawing pad/field journal
-Pencil and pen
-Smartphone or computer with camera app/software
-Digital Optical Microscope
-Plug and play USB microscope (suggested Amscope ) Jiusion , Canada ,
-Bysameyee
-Or DIY Digital Microscope, DIY Phone Microscope (see pre-workshop requirements)
-Microscope slides and cover slips on Amscope
-Filtered or deionized water with pipette (dropper)
-Q-tips
-Gloves
-Mask
