NEoN’s annual theme is ‘Share, Share alike’ and it invites you to explore what sharing means, whether we’re talking about environmental biodiversity, community relations, or data leaks. For Ars Electronicas Kepler Gardens NEoN invited Scottish based artist B.D. Owens to share with us his ideas of sharing private and public space in relation to wider environmental and societal ecologies, and in the context of surveillance technology. In Gare Loch Duality and the #UndesiredLine, he reflects upon the complicated reality of living in close proximity to the Faslane Nuclear Submarine Base.
