(Linz, 1.6.2021) Virtually explore outer space, discover every tiny brushstroke in gigapixel photographs of famous paintings, grasp the ecological impact of our actions or learn about the opportunities and risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence: as of June 8, the Ars Electronica Center will open its doors to the public once again on weekdays, Tuesday through Friday, as part of pre-booked guided tours. The Ars Electronica Center will continue to be open to individual visitors on weekends, but due to the reduced visitor capacity, we recommend booking admission tickets in advance on KUPFticket. Guided tours can be booked now at +43(0)732.7272.0 or center@ars.electronica.art.
Covid measures for guided tours and individual visitors
For guided tours, a current certificate of a negative test result, a vaccination at least 22 days ago or recovery from a COVID19 illness must be presented. On site, the wearing of an FFP2 mask is compulsory for guided tours as well as for visits at weekends. Children up to the age of 6 do not need to wear a mask, up to the age of 14 a tight-fitting mouth-nose protection is sufficient. The data of all tour participants and visitors will be recorded at the Ars Electronica Center’s cash desk and kept for 28 days in case contact tracing is required.
