ConcreteHouse.art features curated pavilions and an exhibition of digital artists selected through an open call. The curated pavilions include Ars Electronica’s partners, .ART’s artist in residence Medina Kasimova and a selection of work from .ART’s and Arlekin Players Theatre’s collaborative project ZeroGravity.art, directed by Igor Golyak and featuring the renowned choreographer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov. ConcreteHouse.art participants join the space for playful reflections on the creation of virtual environments.
Building on the success of 2020 Ars Electronica .ART Global Gallery, .ART returns to present a virtual exhibition for 2021 edition of Ars Electronica festival. This year, it partnered with VR-All-Art, a ground-breaking platform to exhibit, explore and acquire art in the virtual and augmented worlds, to invite visitors into the virtual world of ConcreteHouse.art. The virtual garden, made of concrete, will build upon the overarching theme of Ars Electronica — A New Digital Deal.
