“Urgent Since a Long Time Now: A Sonic Collage & Cut-Up & Cut Away,” is a transnational collaboration using poetry, deep listening and the power of the voice to decolonize knowledge. LASER Nomad

“The Laboratory for Embodied Intelligences” is a creative exploration of embodied thinking, as evidenced by microbial behavior. LASER Pasadena

“Talking about Research, Education and Health with Science and Art” is an artistic documentation of research about health and well-being conducted with the residents and patients of Brazilian slums. LASER Rio de Janeiro

“In Place: Representing Environmental Racism on Tribal Lands and Communities of Color” is a conversation examining the legacy of extractive industries and resource exploitation in New Mexico. LASER Santa Fe

“Communities and Collaborative Art Practice from Local to Global” is a conversation and interdisciplinary storytelling collaboration, community building and cross-cultural communication. LASER St. Petersburg

LASER Auckland (NZ): Hosted by Auckland University of Technology and co-chaired by Janine Randerson and Andrew Denton. Their LASER presentations foreground diverse intra-sections and worldviews from tāngata whenua, citizen scientists and leading researchers in creative or scientific fields.

LASER New York City (US): Co-chaired by Ellen Levy and Patricia Olynyk and hosted by Levy Arts, in partnership with Washington University in St. Louis.

LASER Nomad (DE): Hosted by Ubiquitous Lab and chaired by Luca Forcucci. UQBTLAB.ORG produces art and science research, actively collaborates with several partners around the world, and proposes podcasts with major artists in order to establish a global interconnected dynamic lab for knowledge sharing and decolonization.

LASER Pasadena (US): Co-chaired by Stephen Nowlin and Robert Crouch and hosted by ArtCenter College of Design/Williamson Gallery and Fulcum Ars, and it champions creative and critical thinkers at the intersection of art and science to provoke positive social change and contribute to a more vibrant and inclusive community.

LASER Santa Fe (MX): Hosted by SciArt Santa Fe and co-chaired by Andrea Polli and Susan Latham. SciArt Santa Fe fosters the powerful exchange of ideas between practitioners in the arts, sciences, and technology. It facilitates cross-disciplinary research in these fields through public forums in order to catalyze fruitful solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.

LASER Rio de Janeiro (BR): Co-chaired by João Silveira, Tania Araujo-Jorge, Rejane Spitz, and Maria da Conceição Barbosa-Lima and hosted by Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, in collaboration with the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). The Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz) is a research institution founded in 1900 that generates scientific knowledge and biomedical services to support the health needs of the Brazilian population.

LASER St. Petersburg (RU): Co-chaired by Anna Frants and Natalia Kolodzei and hosted by the CYLAND Media Art Lab. CYLAND is a non-profit organization founded by independent artists and curators committed to promoting and exhibiting New Media Art on the Russian and international art scenes. The International Media Art Festival CYFEST has been organized by CYLAND.
