Constellations of the Earth ist ein Projekt, das mit Hilfe eines Satelliten und eines handgefertigten Funkwellenreflektors eine neue „Konstellation“ am Boden zeichnet. Der Erdbeobachtungssatellit Daichi 2 sendet Funkwellen und beobachtet die Bodenoberfläche, indem er die reflektierten Funkwellen registriert. Indem wir einen Funkwellenreflektor am Boden anordnen, reflektieren wir effizient die Funkwelle von Daichi 2 am Boden und zeichnen dort eine „Konstellation“.

Born 1972 in Shizuoka, Lives and works in Kanazawa, Ishikawa.
Hiroshi Suzuki has been working on projects using earth observation technology to draw the starry sky on the earth since 2010 after returning to Japan after a study abroad program at Brera Academy in Milano. 

Masato OHKI (JP): Researcher, Earth Observation Research Center, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Born in Kanagawa in 1982, lives and works in Tsukuba, Ibaraki.
Masato Ohki received his M. Sc. degree in Earth and Planetary Science from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2007. He is currently working at the Earth Observation Research Center, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, and researching remote sensing technology from space and its applications in many fields, including education and art.
