LEONARDO: SHAPING THE FUTURE … 500 Years of vision
LSF-500-Project ist eine immersive digitale Ausstellung, die Gigapixel-Bilder in 8K, bis zu 28350×40160 Pixel, aus über vierzehn von Leonardo da Vincis Werken zeigt, die unter anderem folgende Werke umfassen: das allgemein bekannte „Porträt eines Mannes“ (auch bekannt als das Selbstporträt von Leonardo), „Die Scapigliata“ (Studie für den Engel in der „Felsgrottenmadonna“), oft beschrieben als „Mona Lisa der Zeichnungen“, das bemerkenswerte Manuskript „Kodex über den Vogelflug“ (18 Seiten mit Studien und 167 Zeichnungen), von Theodor Sabachnikov 1893 König Humbert I. geschenkt, mit Leonardos Zeichnungen von Flugmaschinen, darunter der Ornithopter, eine Flugmaschine mit flatternden Flügeln, und Leonardo da Vincis angebliches Selbstbildnis, das unter einer der Seiten des Kodex über den Vogelflug entdeckt wurde.
Durch das LSF-500 Projekt erlebt das Publikum eine immersive Reise durch Leonardos wunderbare polymatische Forschung und Visionen in Kunst, Wissenschaft und Technik.

- The collection, preserved in the Royal Library, rarely shown to the public, consist of thirteen works purchased by King Charles Albert in 1840, dating from the period between 1488 to 1515 and the manuscript, Codex on the Flight of Birds, donated by Theodor Sabachnikov to King Humbert I in 1893.
