Sovar ist ein aktives Kleidungsstück, das bestimmte architektonische Elemente auf den Körper der TrägerInnen abbildet. Die cross-modale Abbildung des Raumes auf dem Rücken erhöht Aufmerksamkeit der BenutzerInnen auf die Umgebung und deren Präsenzgefühl im Raum.
Sovar kann als Navigationstool, als choreographisches Gerät für vernetzte Performances und als taktile Erweiterung für VR-Räume eingesetzt werden.

Biografie:
Ava Aghakouchak (IR) is an architectural designer/interaction designer currently based in London. She is a PhD candidate at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where she carries out her research on the effects of active and soft wearables on the loop between the body-mind and the built environment. Ava has been a member of the Interactive Architecture Lab since her graduate studies (2015), where she now acts as a thesis supervisor on the MArch Design for Performance and Interaction.
