Immersive Ambisonic Audio is an experimental ambisonic space combined with VR, created within the context of the European research project Immersify. The installation is built of 24 independent loudspeakers, which come together to create a sphere. Visitors have the opportunity to stand in the center of the area, wear VR goggles and take part in three different music sessions. The first session is a modern jazz song played by a septet called Anomalia. The second piece called “The Noise and the Structure” is a contemporary music composition by Jan Skorupa and performed by string quintet. Last piece is live recording of the Polish rock band Luxtorpeda. The demo is a combination of 3D ambisonic audio and VR, which gives participants a unique experience.
