Anhand von CT-Scans einer 2000 Jahre alten ägyptischen Mumie, schuf der Künstler eine exakte Nachbildung des Vokaltrakts dieser Mumie, die er dann mit einer beweglichen Silikonzunge versah. Mayer spielte dieses künstliche Stimmorgan wie ein Instrument und erzeugte eine Reihe von Stimmklängen, aus denen er dann dieses mehrkanalige Klangstück komponierte. Die daraus resultierenden Klänge, die irgendwo zwischen Wissenschaft und poetischer Spekulation angesiedelt sind, entführen uns in die Tiefen der Zeit und verbinden das Archaische mit dem Hypermodernen.
