It explores colonialist references within technical infrastructure and data flows, as well as the ethical, political, technological, and economic challenges associated with sourcing the necessary material resources for hardware. It discusses alternative approaches and solutions aimed at overcoming existing structures and creating a sustainable, ethically responsible, and equitable infrastructure for digital systems.
