The Institute of Digital Sciences Austria (IDSA) was founded by the Austrian Government in July 2022, and will dedicate its research and teaching to the entire dimension of digitization and its transformative effects on science, art, society and the economy.
As kickoff event of the FOUNDING LAB Forum and insightful reflection on the FOUNDING LAB Summer School, the conference provides an initial impulse for the direction that the brand-new university will take and invites the audience to participate in a deep dive into questions related to ownership of knowledge, impact of AI on research and innovation, hard skills and critical thinking capacities for navigating an interconnected world, as well as the technological transformation of society, science and academia.
