At this virtual tour, Bianka Hofmann gives a brief insight into Fraunhofer MEVIS projects at the intersection of science and art and the Institute’s main mission. The expertise in digital medicine and visits of our magnetic resonance (MR) imaging research lab form a starting point for these projects and enables scientists and artists to work with and experience real medical data. Jochen Hirsch and Daniel Hoinkiss provide us with a view into the MR Lab, explain how the scanner works, and acquire images of Daniels’s brain during the tour.
