All times are given in Central European Time (CET / UTC +1).

Tardi, the tardigrade, is marvelling into a new world. There it encounters many unexpected things: Mucki, the muscle cell, the puppet robot, the artificial intelligence and a very elegant worm. Based on the children’s book “Da ist Tardi” in German we go on an exciting voyage of discovery with Tardi in this ten part Home Delivery series.

Since Tardi has already learnt a lot about the human brain it asks: Can machines have a brain too? In the Ars Electronica Center it has heard about “artificial intelligence”, but what exactly is that? How can something like that work, how can a computer “learn”? In today’s segment we will see what an AI is and what it can do, what it can’t do, and how we can make use of it.
