Alongside contemporary media arts and scientific images the Deep Space can also be used to show historical religious arts from Austria in a very unique manner: So-called gigapixel images are high-resolution pictures that can reveal all details of various artworks. The Kefermarkt winged altar and the miniature “Menschheitszukunft” are two such artworks that can not only be analysed in the field of art history but also offer a unique experience of art, that is not possible analogously.
