Science Talk: Digital stress – how it destroys us and what we can do about it

Prof. Dr. René Riedl is Professor of Digital Business and Innovation at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. His main research areas are the neuropsychological effects of human interaction with digital technologies – especially in relation to stress, trust and emotions.

With his book “Digitaler Stress: Wie er uns kaputt macht und was wir dagegen tun können“, published by Linde Verlag, he will be speaking at the Science Talk in Ars Electronica Deep Space about the potential benefits of digital technologies and how the conscious use of information and communication technologies can reduce digital stress.
