Domas Schwarz has been involved with Ars Electronica in various roles since 2015: Initially as an infotrainer during his studies at the Linz University of Art, now as a tech trainer and, since this year, primarily behind the Home Delivery camera. He spoke with Sabine Leidlmair about his work in our unique living room studio by papplab.
He is a media artist, filmmaker, musician and creative technologist from Linz. He studied Time-based and Interactive Media and Time-based Media at the Linz University of Art from 2012 to 2020. His artistic focus is on experimental work with moving images and media sculptures in kinetic video, sound and light installations, where the factor of time plays a crucial role. The use of loops, time-lapse sequences, long-term exposures, photo manipulations and rotational movements are recurring elements in his work.
