Influencer is a 20 minute online interactive performance where the audience decides the faith of the protagonist. Influencer. We introduce a character, alone. Lost. In a city. The audience has a choice: Go left. Go right. This is the starting point for a 20 minute online interactive performance where the audience decides the faith of the protagonist. Influencer questions the autonomy of the human being in modern times. How far are we influenced by the majority? And how far are these choices influenced by technology and media? Are we going to a future where an A.I. controlled hive mind decides what the best choice is for us? In our experience the main character is visible through a live stream on our website. At crucial points we show a multiple choice question where the majority of the audience decides what should happen. We script the beginning and the end. How the character gets to the end is completely up to the choices the hive-mind makes. We leave space for unpredictable events, and are able to adjust the storyline on the spot.
