Biography

Ai Hasegawa is an artist and designer, whose works emphasise matters relating to technology and people while employing techniques such as bio art and speculative design. She produces provocative work and incites discussion by continually seeking answers to questions on ethical barriers. Her signature projects are related to reproduction, eating and fairness, and include (Im)possible Baby, Shared Baby, Human X Shark,I Wanna Deliver a Dolphin, Alt-Bias Gun, and so on. Her book on speculative design, “Revolutionary20XX,” in 2020.
