Garden of Third Life Conference

Garden of Third Life is a Online Lecture Series to share the meaning of the upcoming era of the Third Life through sociocultural and artistic approaches. French gardener Gilles Clément defines “Third Landscape” as “undetermined fragment of the Planetary Garden”. It is an area of the future where diversity exists.

The Online Lecture Series aims to share the main discourse on the “Garden,” the central theme of Ars Electronica, and the “Third Life” of the Korea National University of Arts. In today’s technology-based society, we are looking for ways to cultivate a new garden as a global community for the future through the presentation of experts from various fields including biotechnology, cultural sociology, art, and architecture, focusing on nature, local communities and Third-Life issues.
