This VR movie is set in the rural landscape of the Dja Dja Wurrung aboriginal tribe in southern Australia. The project tells stories of the land from different perspectives, allowing the audience to move through the site by engaging in a VR environment, with narrators telling different stories. Our project provides an entry point to and experience of the indigenous land as an immersive environment, combined with a cultural perspective, told from different angles. In the VR movie, the audience traverses three different settings: the pre-colonial forest, the colonial farm, and the post-colonial farmland envisioned for a utopian future.
