The panel is dedicated to the challenges of curating hybrid events in times of pandemic: Helena Nikonole, Oxana Chvyakina, Olga Vad, Natalia Fedorova and Olga Zubova will present their hybrid (online\offline) projects and share their curatorial experiences and perspectives.

Helena Nikonole: New media artist, independent curator and educator. Ars Electronica 2019, CTM, Mutek, «Open Codes» at ZKM Museum etc. participant. Teaches Art & Science and AI & art at ITMO University, Innopolis University and Rodchenko Art School. As a curator, she focuses on critical approaches to technology. This includes the exhibitions Learning Machines (with Alexey Shulgin) and Datasets vs Mindsets (Ars Electronica Festival 2020) which she curated together with Olga Vad. (nikonole.com)

Oxana Chvyakina: Art historian, curator, online exhibitions’ researcher and educator. Curator of the online pavilions of III and IV editions of The Wrong New Digital Art Biennale. Curator of exhibitions of the parallel and special programs of the 6th and 7th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art. Olga Vad is a curator, co-founder of NADO Curatorial Agency. In the past: Head of Art&Science Department in the Polytechnic Museum, Program Director of the «Polytech» Festival of Art, Science & Technology and Head of «TransCultural Express», cultural exchange program at Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.

Natalia Fedorova: Artist, curator and researcher working in the field of science art and new media. Her artistic work was demonstrated at Ars Electronica, ISEA, Manifesta, EVA and others. For the last six years she has been curating 101, mediapoetry festival (101.com.ru). As an invited curator she exhibited in Garage, V-A-C, and the Theatre of Nations. Currently Natalia is teaching science art at ITMO University and new media art theory and text based art in St Petersburg State University.

Olga Zubova: Sound and visual artist, performer, art historian, and a curator. Currently she receives MA in Sound Art and Sound Studies at Art and Design School HSE. Born in Siberia, she now lives and works in Moscow and Saint- Petersburg, Russia. Member of art-collective iBiom. Co-host of podcast about culture, art and ethics «Kunststuck».
