LASER Fortaleza (BR): Hosted by the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR), a leading institution for education and scientific production, and is chaired by Clarissa Almeida. In order to face emerging challenges in contemporary societies, the university develops problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills from a transcultural and transdisciplinary perspective.

LASER Montreal (CA): Co-chaired by Gisele Trudel and Nina Czegledy and hosted by Hexagram in collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal. Hexagram is an interdisciplinary network dedicated to research-creation addressing the relationships between arts, cultures and technologies.

LASER São Paulo (BR): Hosted by Atelier Tania Fraga and chaired by Tania Fraga. Atelier Tania Fraga’s vision is to create audiovisual poetics pointing to potentially symbiotic relationships between humans and semiotic machines.

LASER Toronto (CA): Organized by ArtSci Salon and The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences and is co-chaired by Roberta Buiani and Nina Czegledy. Since 2012, the ArtSci Salon has hosted public discussions, art installations, performances and workshops to facilitate the cross-pollination between science, technology, and the arts.

LASER Vienna (AT): Co-chaired by Klaus Spiess and Susanne Gahbauer and hosted by the Medical University of Vienna in partnership with the University of Applied Arts. Medical University of Vienna is one of the most traditional medical education and one of Europe’s leading research establishments in the biomedical sector.
