Die Projektinitiative von mica – music austria, der Universität für Weiterbildung Krems, dem Ars Electronica Festival und dem Österreichischen Musikrat hat zum Ziel, die Professionalisierung von Musiker*innen zu modernen Unternehmer*innen im Musikbusiness voranzutreiben. Zu diesem Zweck werden Vertreter*innen aus Bildung, Musikwirtschaft und Politik zu einem "Music Summit" eingeladen, um in einen gemeinsamen Dialog zu treten und Formate zu gestalten, die allen Musikschaffenden – unabhängig von ihrem Bildungshintergrund – offen stehen.

Taking the notion of “disruptive innovation” as a starting point, the Garden Vorarlberg is set out to challenge prevailing, techno-economically driven ideas of future development. What is defined as disruptive, depends on those orders and systems that are interrupted, disturbed or destroyed by disruption. But how can we disrupt by design in the sense of contributing to societal change towards more ecologically and socially sustainable lifestyles and forms of living?

Ausgangspunkt der Diskussion bilden zwei beim Prix Ars Electronica in der Kategorie u19–create your world ausgezeichnete filmische Werke.

Ory Yoshifuji developed OriHime, an avatar robot, based on his own experience as a teenager to solve solitude as the theme of his life and developed a series of prototypes to meet the motivations of users. He will talk about solitude, bonds, and how the world can be changed in this talk session.
