With “dine.” the young developers of HTL Dornbirn have developed a delivery service app to promote sustainable and healthy nutrition among students*. The app works via a unique system of collective orders, in which all order requests from a school or company are collected virtually and sent to the suppliers. This saves students* the cost of delivery and the minimum order value. Since all orders are delivered in one trip, the collective ordering system is also more environmentally friendly than various individual deliveries.

The suppliers are regional restaurants that prepare healthy meals for the students and cater to their needs. In the app, the food offered can be adapted to the individual dietary style – whether vegan, high-protein or low-carb.

The project is already in a test phase at HTL Dornbirn and could be expanded to other schools and companies in the future.

dine. was awarded Young Professionals Honorary Mention in the u19-create your world category at the Prix Ars Electronica 2021.
