Procedure of ticket purchase and collected data

To purchase tickets for Onsite Festival at different venues in Linz, registration is handled by the provider Kupfticket.

To participate in the Online Festival, it is necessary that you register bindingly with the ticketing provider Eventbrite for the purchase of one or more festival tickets.

In both cases the tickets for the festival visit will be sent to you by email.

The Ars Electronica 2021 Online Festival will be handled by the networking and matchmaking-based platform Swapcard. Swapcard facilitates, among other things, the mediation of potential conversation partners (so-called “matches”) on the basis of disclosed personal data. Video, sound and photo recordings

We expressly point out that the events, exhibitions and other program features will be filmed and/or audio recorded and/or photographed for the purpose of presenting, promoting, archiving or providing information about Ars Electronica, its partners and its services, and that some of this content will be published live online on various platforms such as YouTube, Swapcard, website, social media, etc. and/or made publicly accessible. We would also like to point out that some of the events or other program items are experimental and are intended to develop or test a new form of hybridization.
